Dr. William Plaugher

Beginnings

Originally from Sonoma County, Dr. William Plaugher graduated with honors from Chapman University, where he majored in Molecular Biology and minored in Spanish.

Serving Others

After graduation, he enjoyed two years serving with a nonprofit in Panama and Nicaragua, helping implement dental clinics in rural communities.

On to Dentistry

Dr. Plaugher returned to California to attend UCSF School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Advanced Training

Dr. Plaugher continues to stay on the leading edge of dentistry with ongoing extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, implants, comprehensive restorative care, and surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Redwood Empire Dental Society, as well as local study clubs.

Home Life

He is happily married to his beautiful dental school sweetheart, Ava Vakili (an orthodontist). He enjoys cycling, woodworking, photography, traveling, and cooking.

Dr. James Forni

Serving Others

Dr. Forni has been in practice since 1995 in the Hoen Avenue location and has evolved his practice to include metal free restorations as well as laser dentistry.

Advanced Training

Born in Santa Rosa, Dr. Forni attended Cardinal Newman High School before moving on to college at UC Santa Barbara. He received his dental education at Medical College of Virginia, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1995.

Home Life

Dr. Forni is married to Dr. Mary Anne Forni, DMD and has two children, Cantlen and Will. Together the family enjoys sailing, skiing, cycling and just about every other outdoor sport.
